Medical University of South Caroline and
Soterix Medical announce a new clinical trial of home-based auricular Vagus Nerve Stimulation (taVNS) for individuals who experience post-COVID neuropsychiatric symptoms, like fatigue, headache, or anxiety. Mark George, a leader in neuromodulation and co-leader of the trial says “When your body tries to fight off COVID… an inflammatory cascade that can kick in… A lot of people feel that the inflammation is what’s causing those symptoms to occur post-COVID. If we can reduce inflammation [with taVNS neuromodulation], we have a chance of reducing that.” Learn more and sign up here
