The 2022 Neuroergonomics & NYC Neuromodulation Conference is committed to the elevation and promotion of young and emerging scientists including those from diverse backgrounds. The 2022 Neuroergonomics and Neuromodulation Emerging Scientist Award is intended to recognize rising stars in brain technology and wearable/digital health who have demonstrated both excellence in research or engineering and in service to the community.

Awards are made on a rolling basis and therefore applicants are encouraged to apply immediately to maximize chances of success.

Awardee Requirements: Awardees are expected to participate in the entire three days of the conference as well as attend professional networking events including those focusing on diversity. awardees will be directly notified of a dedicated networking event which will also include leaders from academia and industry.

Awardees will be selected by the conference Scientific Committee.

2022 Neuroergonomics and Neuromodulation Emerging Scientist Award will be recognized in the conference program and in the conference closing awards ceremony. awardees are eligible for all additional conference awards (such as Best Poster) but are not eligible for the Abbott Science and Society Award for Emerging Scientists.

Eligibility: 1) Less than 6 years from terminal degree on July 28, 2022; 2) Submitted an abstract (you do not need to be the listed presenting author but must be at the poster during the poster session). 3) Fully complete the on-line application.
