Upcoming Neuromodulation Event

Neural Interfaces 2025

Conference

June 12 – 14, 2025 │ Crystal Gateway Marriott │ Arlington, VA

About the Conference

Neural Interfaces 2025 is the next in the biennial Neural Interfaces Conference Series that provides a forum for state-of-the-art developments spanning from basic science to clinical implementation and from invasive to non-invasive technologies. The conference focuses on neuromodulation, bioelectronic medicines, sensory and motor neuroprostheses, neural plasticity, biomaterials, electrode technologies, brain–computer/machine interfaces, and other related areas.

Hosted by the North American Neuromodulation Society, Neural Interfaces 2025 brings together scientists, engineers, clinicians, venture capital, industry, and government representatives to develop solutions that unlock the true promise of neural interfaces for improving health.

First hosted in 1970 as the “NIH Neural Prosthesis Workshop,” this conference has grown over the decades to become the leading meeting for exploring and advancing neural-interface technology and therapies. NANS hosted the 2016 and 2021 meetings and will continue with Neural Interfaces 2025, with plans for future conferences in 2027 and beyond.

Key Meeting Characteristics

  • Candid and Critical: Promoting robust discussion and respectful debate
  • Interactive: Engaging attendees through Q&A and open discussion
  • Trainee-Inclusive: Encouraging trainees to participate in discussion and poster sessions
  • Solution-Focused: Developing practical, real-world solutions to unsolved problems
  • Broad Participation: Encouraging Academic (Engineers/Scientists), Clinicians, Industry, and Agency (NIH, FDA, CMS) involvement
