Overview

As the use of functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy continues to grow each year, Soterix Medical is partnering with Artinis to host a one-day introductory course on fNIRS for students, postgraduates, researchers, new users, and other professionals. All fNIRS enthusiasts are welcome!

This course ensures participants can use fNIRS equipment to its full potential through a combination of foundational lectures and hands-on practical training.

Program

The course is divided into two parts:

Theoretical background — learn more about:

• The theory and technology behind fNIRS
• fNIRS applications in neuroscience, psychology, and sports science
• Applicable experimental setup and analysis methods

Practical hands-on session

• Put the acquired theoretical knowledge into practice
• Perform different fNIRS experiments from set-up to simple data analysis
