About the Conference

The 12th Annual Minnesota Neuromodulation Symposium is organized by the Institute for Engineering in Medicine (IEM) and MnDRIVE Brain Conditions. This symposium aims to bring together basic scientists, engineers, clinicians, industrial practitioners, and entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges and opportunities in neuromodulation. The event will feature plenary presentations by leaders in academia, industry, and government, along with poster presentations to foster idea exchange. As part of IEM Innovation Week and immediately following the Design of Medical Devices Conference, this symposium promises dynamic discussions and valuable networking.

Abstract Submission

If you present a poster, you will receive FREE registration!
Submit your abstract by March 7th, 2025.
Do not register for the event until you receive notification that your poster was selected and receive the free registration code from the Neuromodulation Symposium team.
POSTER SIZE REQUIREMENTS: Posters must be printed to this size in order to fit on the poster boards 46”W(↔)x 32”H(↕)

Travel Award Application

  • National and international students and postdoctoral researchers presenting posters are invited to apply.
  • Apply by February 28th, 2025.
  • Do not register until you receive notification as a selected travel awardee and the free registration code.

NeuroTech Venture Pitch Application

  • The symposium will host its first-ever 5-Minute Neurotech Venture Pitch Competition.
  • Submit your application by March 7th, 2025 for a chance to win up to $5,000.
  • Do not register until you receive notification that you are selected to compete and the free registration code.
