Join us for ‘Young Women Shaping the Future of Neurotech’, an inclusive event celebrating the efforts of young women scientists in the fields of neuromodulation, neural engineering, neural interfaces, and technology validation. This event is open to everyone and serves as a platform to showcase the achievements and challenges faced by young women in academia and industry. Our expert speakers will share insights, successes, and challenges, fostering a dynamic discussion. The event promotes networking opportunities between early career and more experienced women scientists, creating a supportive community within the diverse and evolving landscape of neuromodulation research and technology.

Y-WIN Award FAQ

The "Young Women in Neurotech (Y-WIN) Award" recipients will be selected based on: (1) contribution to the meeting as evidenced by submitting an abstract; and (2) records of service to the field of neurotechnology.
Upon a careful review, we will select a total of 4 recipients, and each will receive an award.

Awardees are required to attend the conference from opening to closing remarks as well as to participate in social events organized for young scientists. Awardees are required to present their abstract poster.
Eligibility:
(1) Being a full-time student enrolled in a Ph.D. program (will not graduate before July 30, 2024, or graduated with their degree after Dec 1, 2023.) or being a full-time postdoctoral fellow who is involved in research activities;
(2) Submit an abstract (you need to be the presenting author and must be at the poster during the poster session);
(3) Fully complete the online application.

As a recipient, you will be required to attend the event Young Women Shaping the Future of Neurotech, where we will connect you with other young women scientist awardees. You will also be recognized in the conference program. This opportunity is intended to promote the career of young women in neurotech through networking at the conference. To ensure your participation, you are required to register for the conference and submit an abstract.
